GVW ladder truck

Prior to the January 6, 2005 Graniteville train derailment most of the GVW fleet was damaged by the chlorine which leaked from a busted railcar.

The fire fighters thought they were responding to a train crashing into a building with a fire but when they arrived at the scene they found out it was a train had hit a parked train.

The chlorine gas killed 9 people and injured over 100 the fire trucks were left at the scene as the firefighters ran for their lives.

This truck is one of the GVW's newest rigs, while this is not a new picture I figured I'd post it to get it out of my file folder.
