Well just about 15 minutes prior to me reading the note from jdawg that the F-units were headed my way.
I posted a journal and just as I stepped out my back door I heard the horn.
I jumped on my bike and didn't even come to a complete stop before I started drawing out my camera.
There it was I saw the white nose and I knew what it was, so I wasted no time getting shots of this.
I only got three shots and apparently none of the shots on the passenger cars came out right but that's ok, it's not every day you get this chance and it's even in Southern paint scheme.
I have to thank jdawg for informing me without him telling me I would not have known
Since these F-units are in my playground I might chase them through Augusta this week.
Only 3 of the 4 f-units were present.
One of the F9A wasn't there. Amoung the F-units is a GP38-2 NS 5648.
I'll never forget this chase!
Here's the time line
3:47:09 PM: Jdawg sends me a note
4:05 PM: I log on to my computer
4:10 PM: I receive the note then at 4:12 PM I declare the chase is on.
4:18:44 PM: I hear the horn of the F-unit and I get there just in time to get a shot of them.12/26/08: Frame added!
