Something's wrong in the sky by Joseph-W-Johns Something's wrong in the sky by Joseph-W-Johns
I finally found a good sunset shooting point on Langley Pond.

This manipulation used a lot of gamma adjustments.

Absolutely gorgeous. Love what you've done with the gamma adjustment, and a sunset is always doubly beautiful when photographed over a body of water. :)

Oh thats nice, I took something with similar colors however i needed to use some sunglasses to get the filter/colours just right :/

Yours looks by far more awesome than my sily pic years ago :)

(and no im not implying or saying you are using filters, just that i had to because i sucked at photography back then :D )

After 3 years of trying to get this right I think I finally got it right here.

I don't know if you'd consider gamma, brightness, color balance, saturation and contrast adjustments filters .

I've only got 5.1 mega pixels on my current camera. I plan on upgrading to a 10 mega pixel soon.

Thanks for the comment and the fave!

In fact the loaded resolution of this pic isn't the full resolution. I loaded this one so it's original size is available in case I want to sell it as a print in the future and it's original size is also available in download but it's fullview size is smaller just so it loads faster.

The fullview you are seeing here is only 800x627 but the original is 2992x2344 so this is actually only 27% of the size of the orignal.

Wow, I really like the final result, it's a nice sunset for sure ! The colors in the sky are so nice and the rest so dark (nice contrast).
